About Us

Opt2Care, Incorporated is a New Jersey licensed Home Care Company. We currently service North Jersey. The primary goal of Opt2Care (acronym for “Opt To Care”) is to deliver ultimate home care service throughout the state of New Jersey and beyond by providing unique options with the most experienced and dedicated professional staff. Collectively, Opt2Care founders have over 20 years of relevant health care industry experience.

Melissa Louie, Founder

Melissa Louie, LMSW, MPA, has worked in the healthcare field since 1992. Her passion to make a difference in the field of aging stems from her close relationship with her grandmother. While caring for her grandmother, she recognized the need for competent and compassionate clinicians in the field of aging. For the past 13 years, Melissa has worked diligently to improving the quality of life for older adults and their families. Melissa was employed as Program Director at Chelsea Adult Day Health Center; Eldercare Coordinator for Catholic Charities; and as a Medical Social Worker at Dry Harbor Nursing Home.

Melissa received a M.S.W. in clinical social work from New York University, M.P.A in public administration/policy from Baruch College, and B.A. in sociology/ religion from Rutgers College. Melissa is also trained with the Alzheimer's Association as a support group leader and received a S.I.F.I (Seminar in Field Instruction) certificate from Columbia University.
